Andrew Farquharson trained in Garden Design and graduated with distinction from the world-renowned English Gardening School. Since then Andrew Farquharson Garden Design has continued to build a reputation founded in design excellence and outstanding customer service.
Our first principle is to work very closely with our clients - with the priority to understand your vision and make the process of creation as simple and as enjoyable as possible.
Our design portfolio is comprehensive - whether you require a formal courtyard, chic city rooftop, wildflower meadow or traditional cottage garden with lush and seductive planting - we excel in creating a rich variety of styles and expressions.
We design each garden as an extension of a home; reflecting both the style and the needs of the client. Our aim is to offer ideas and to craft a space that fits and blends with its environment. And we are enthusiastic users of environmentally friendly and sustainable materials and methods whenever possible.
Designing your garden is the beginning of a journey of thoughtful investment. Your garden holds the promise to become a source of joy that matures over the years, is ever-changing with something new of interest - a hideaway retreat, a place of contentment that is truly your own.
Our garden has been transformed from an overgrown and unloved space into our own hidden oasis that we now use whenever we possibly can. We love Andrews clever use of different and unusual materials that work so well together. My favourite part of the garden is the planting, there is always something giving colour or interest throughout the year. I particularly enjoy the combination of many scented flowers and herbs in the borders. Although keen but inexperienced gardeners, Andrew provided us with some really helpful information on how to look after our individual plants and is always on hand for some handy advice. We always felt confident and involved in the whole commission from the first designs and throughout the construction. We will be recommending Andrew to all our friends and neighbours. - Mr and Mrs L from Richmond
